Lori J. Fabian has been an attorney with the firm since May of 2003. She became a partner in July of 2008. Additionally, she worked as a law clerk and legal secretary for the firm after her graduation from Carroll University in May of 1999, until her graduation from Marquette University Law School in 2003.
PRACTICE AREAS
Attorney Fabian’s areas of practice include Family Law (including Collaborative Divorce and Traditional Divorce, Paternity, Post-Judgment Issues, Custody, Placement, Support and Guardian ad Litem work) and Municipal Court Prosecution. She is a certified Mediator for family law cases. She has served as Prosecutor for the Village of Eagle since 2003, and Prosecutor for the Village of Pewaukee since 2004.

Attorney Fabian is licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court, and Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar, Waukesha County Bar Association and the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin.
Attorney Fabian is a named Super Lawyer since 2018. Prior to being a Super Lawyer, she was recognized as a Rising Star Attorney for the State of Wisconsin for the years 2006 to 2012, and 2014 to 2017. In 2022, Attorney Fabian was named as one of the top 25 women attorneys in Wisconsin through Super Lawyers.
Attorney Fabian has been Court Commissioner for the Honorable Laura Lau since 2018.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE
Attorney Fabian is involved in a variety of community activities. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Waukesha & Pewaukee Convention and Visitors Bureau since 2003, and is a member of the WPCVB’s Executive Committee. She served as Chair-Person of the WPCVB from 2015 to 2017. She was a Board Member and Secretary for Caregiver’s Crossing, Inc., a Board Member for TeamUp! With Families; and Board Member and President of Mental Health Association in Waukesha County, Inc. She served as Secretary for the Alpha Gamma Delta Beta Epsilon Alumnae Chapter from 2000 to 2008. She was also on the Board of Directors for the Waukesha County Bar Association, serving as Secretary/Treasurer and President-Elect in past years, and serving as President for 2013-2014. She was appointed to the City of Waukesha Police & Fire Commission in 2019. She was awarded the 2023 Waukesha County Bar Association Community Service Award for her years of giving back to the community.
PERSONAL
In her spare time, Attorney Fabian enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
