Alexandra K Evans is an associate with the firm having graduated from Marquette University Law School in May of 2021. She served as a law clerk at the firm beginning in May of 2020.While in law school, she served as Marquette Sports Law Review’s Index and Survey Editor. Additionally, Attorney Evans’s Comment, “Who Knows the Difference Between Competitive Cheerleading, Sideline Cheerleading, Acrobatics and Tumbling? Why This Distinction is so Important for Title IX” was published in the Marquette Sports Law Review in the Fall of 2020. In second year of law school, she was awarded the Annual Sports Law Alumni Achievement Award and ultimately earned a Certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute. For her undergraduate degree, Attorney Evans attended Northern Illinois University, where she studied Political Science and was on the cheerleading team.
PRACTICE AREAS
Attorney Evans’s interests primarily lie with family law matters, including divorce, post-judgement custody, placement, and child support issues, as well as guardian ad-litem work. Attorney Evans has also practiced in the following areas: real estate, estate planning, guardianships, and probate.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Attorney Evans is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She is also a member of several organizations including the Wisconsin State Bar, the Waukesha County Bar Association, the National Sports Law Institute’s Sports Alumni Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE
During law school, Attorney Evans spent her time volunteering in the Milwaukee County Courthouse Family Forms Clinic. She continues to support the Small Claims Mediation Clinic, through Marquette University Law School, as a volunteer supervising attorney.
PERSONAL
Attorney Evans resides in Bayview with her husband. She enjoys exercising, playing with her dog, Bane, and taking on renovation projects at her and her husband’s rental properties.
